The New York Football Giants Appoints SVP, HR and Diversity from Search by Hanold Associates

The New York Football Giants has appointed Celeste Bell as SVP, HR and Diversity, reporting to team owner, CEO and President John Mara. Hanold AssociatesJason Hanold, Lisa (Butkus) Yae, Ivy Arlia and Meg McElroy led the East Rutherford, New Jersey-based role.

As Head of HR and Diversity, Celeste will serve as a key member of the senior leadership team and lead the organization’s HR function. Celeste will develop a cohesive function that supports the team, the business and its people, with a focus on diversity, equity and inclusion. Prior to joining the New York Giants, Celeste served as EVP, Head of HR at the marketing agency, Deutsch NY and brings 10+ years of previous sports experience from the MLB and NBA.

The New York Giants are an American football team that plays in the NFC East Division of the National Football League (NFL). The Giants are a cornerstone franchise of the league, being the fourth oldest team and operating in the country’s largest market. The team was founded as the New York Football Giants in 1925 by original owner Tim Mara. The team plays its home games at the 82,500-capacity MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, and is headquartered at the adjacent Quest Diagnostics Training Center. The back-office staff of the Giants totals approximately 200 full-time employees with seasonal hiring spikes of an additional 150 during the football season for various gameday and event functions.
