Puttshack, the world’s first and only upscale tech-infused mini golf experience, has appointed Rocio DeJesus as Head of People & Talent. Hanold Associates’ Hans Henson, Sonia Nagra and Meg McElroy led the search for this Chicago-based role.
With new investment from BlackRock, the company plans to open at least ten more locations in the U.S. within the next year, scaling up to 3,000 employees by 2023. As Head of People & Talent, Rocio will build and implement an HR strategy to best support the company during expansions. In this role, Rocio will report directly to CEO Joe Vrankin while overseeing all HR operations for the U.S.-based team. Prior to joining Puttshack, Rocio served as Senior Director, Talent Acquisition & Team Member Experience at Martin Brower.
Puttshack is the world’s first and only upscale tech-infused mini golf experience. Puttshack first launched in the United Kingdom in 2018, quickly expanding to three additional locations in greater London. The company has expanded to the U.S. with five current locations in Atlanta, Boston, Miami, St. Louis and the Chicago area. Puttshack is a growing team of 1,200 with global headquarters in Chicago and a U.K. office in London.
