Charter Next Generation Appoints Director, Corporate HR and Talent Management from Search by Hanold Associates

Charter Next Generation (CNG) has appointed Lauren Sliwka as Director, Corporate HR and Talent Management. Hanold Associates’ Meg McElroy, Kile Hanold and Catie Nelson led the Chicago-based search. This is Hanold Associates’ fourth successful assignment with the company.

As CNG’s Director of Corporate HR and Talent Management, Lauren will further bolster the company’s ongoing growth and enhance its HR function, providing oversight and support across multiple facets of the business. In this role, Lauren will report to CHRO Lisa Alteri. Prior to joining CNG, Lauren served as Director, HR Business Partner at Allstate.

CNG is North America’s leading independent producer of high-performance, sustainable films used in flexible packaging and other end-use markets. With more than 30% of all food produced globally wasted due to spoilage, CNG offers solutions for keeping food fresh for longer while maintaining the lowest carbon footprint of any major packaging substrate given its optimized size and lighter weight. Headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, CNG has 15 facilities across 10 locations with more than 2,200 employees. CNG is PE-backed by Leonard Green & Partners and KKR, and in October 2021 unveiled its new employee ownership program, “Ownership Works,” where all employees were made shareholders in the company.
