Sentara Healthcare, a not-for-profit healthcare organization, has appointed Justin Fulton as Vice President, Talent Strategy. Hanold Associates’ Ashley Schiele, Katrina Maione and Adam Watson led the search for this role based in Virginia.
As the VP, Talent Strategy, Justin will be responsible for leading and expanding Sentara’s talent and learning strategies to create a pipeline of top-tier internal talent that can contribute to Sentara’s continued growth. In this role, Justin will create and drive innovative programs and initiatives to drive the transition to a tech-enabled healthcare organization while leading the talent and learning strategy and workforce preparedness team. Justin previously served in various roles at Banner Health, including the Director, Talent Development, Learning & Assessment and Director of Banner Health’s Innovation Lab.
Sentara is an integrated, not-for-profit healthcare system that consists of 12 hospitals, two health plans, ambulatory services and physician practices located throughout Virginia and North Carolina. Sentara serves approximately 900,000 members through the Optima Health plan and Virginia Premier Health Plan. The company currently has 30,000 team members, 3,800 of whom are provider medical staff.
