DICK’S Sporting Goods, the largest sporting goods retail company in the United States, has appointed Michael Keinath as VP Human Resources. Hanold Associates‘ Partners Keri Gavin and Lisa Butkus led the search for this Pittsburgh area role.
Headquartered in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania, DICK’S has 50,000 teammates across the United States. The company operates 725 of its retail sports locations, as well as Golf Galaxy and Field & Stream specialty stores and five distribution centers around the country to support its growing eCommerce business. Publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange as DKS, DICK’S grew its 2020 revenue to $8.75 billion.
Prior to joining DICK’S, Michael was the VP HR for Honeywell’s Global Commercial division, where he supported the Chief Commercial Officer. In his new, highly visible role within DICK’S, he will report to previous Hanold Associates placement, Chief People Officer Julie Lodge-Jarrett, with whom he will partner to deliver a positive end to end employee experience while driving strategic value for the business.
