Charter Next Generation Appoints Senior Manager

Charter Next Generation (CNG) has appointed Desmond Nolen as Senior Manager, Compensation. Hanold Associates’ Lisa Yae, Katrina Maione and Sonia Nagra led the Chicago, Illinois based search.

As Senior Manager, Compensation, Desmond will lead CNG’s compensation strategy and partner with the Total Rewards team to create a holistic value proposition. Desmond will be responsible for managing the compensation function and creating programs and policies that attract and retain talent, aligning with company goals. In this role, Desmond will report to Director of Total Rewards Wendy Crotteau. Prior to joining CNG, Desmond served as Senior Compensation Analyst at OSI Group.

CNG is North America’s leading independent producer of high-performance, sustainable films used in flexible packaging and other end-use markets. With more than 30% of all food produced globally wasted due to spoilage, CNG offers solutions for keeping food fresh for longer while maintaining the lowest carbon footprint of any major packaging substrate given its optimized size and lighter weight. Headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, CNG has 14 facilities across 10 locations with more than 2,500 employees. CNG is PE-backed by Leonard Green & Partners and KKR, and in October 2021 unveiled its new employee ownership program, “Ownership Works,” where all employees were made shareholders in the company.
