With more than 30% of all food produced globally wasted due to spoilage, CNG offers solutions for keeping food fresh for longer while maintaining the lowest carbon footprint of any major packaging substrate given its optimized size and lighter weight. Headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, CNG has 14 facilities across 10 locations with more than 2,500 employees. CNG is PE-backed by Leonard Green & Partners and KKR, and in October 2021 unveiled its new employee ownership program, “Ownership Works,” where all employees were made shareholders in the company.
