Patagonia Appoints Head of Total Rewards

Patagonia has appointed Laura Boroch as Head of Total Rewards. Hanold Associates’ Ashley Schiele, Maisha Pearson and Meg McElroy led the Ventura, California-based search.

As Head of Total Rewards, Laura will oversee and provide strategic direction for compensation, benefits, leave management, and wellness. Reporting to CHRO Theresita Richards, Laura will drive efficiency and innovation across the Total Rewards function, as part of Patagonia’s ongoing focus on employee experience and wellbeing. Prior to joining Patagonia, Laura served as Head of Total Rewards at Riot Games.

Originally focused on climbing gear, Patagonia has since expanded into apparel and accessories for a range of outdoor sports and activities, including ski/snowboarding, surfing, mountain biking and more. Beyond apparel and accessories, in 1985, Patagonia created the 1% for the Planet initiative and has since donated $89 million to environmental efforts.
