Hanold Associates is happy to announce that Lauren Drake has joined the firm as a partner. Based in the Washington, D.C. area, Lauren will focus on assignments for senior level professional services and HR roles across a broad spectrum of industries. Lauren most recently worked with McKinsey & Company as the global head of experienced hire recruiting and professional development.
From her wide experience in both recruiting and professional development, Jason Hanold and Hanold Associates look forward to Lauren’s contributions and impact within the firm.
In Lauren’s most recent role with McKinsey as global head of experienced hire recruiting and professional development, she oversaw experienced professional talent acquisition on a global basis and managed a team of thirty recruiting staff and contractors around the world. She guided initiatives to increase the diversity of experienced hires and developed on-boarding, training, and integration programs for senior hires.
Prior to leading experienced hire recruiting for McKinsey, Lauren managed the firm’s Strategy Practice and the Telecommunications Practice. In those roles, she was responsible for knowledge management, client development, people leadership, and financial forecasting. Prior to joining McKinsey, Lauren was a telecommunications attorney in Washington, D.C.
Lauren earned her J.D. from the Marshall-Wythe School of Law, College of William and Mary and her B.A. from the University of Virginia. Lauren enjoys spending time with her family and her two dogs and is a strong supporter of the charitable organizations Comfort Zone Camp, BRASS Camp, and Give the Kids the World Village.
