64x Bio Appoints Associate Director of Talent from Search by Hanold Associates

64x Bio, a biotechnology company focused on cell and gene therapy manufacturing, has appointed Emily Hawkins as Associate Director of Talent. Hanold Associates’ Mayank Parikh, Sonia Nagra and Ivy Arlia led the search for this role based in San Francisco.

As Associate Director of Talent, Emily will build 64x Bio’s talent acquisition function from the ground up, creating a scalable and agile function for the company. With expectations to scale significantly in the next 18 months, TA will be a critical piece of the company’s growth. In this role, Emily will partner with the CEO and Founder Lex Rovner, shaping the TA function while actively recruiting talent to the organization. Prior to joining 64x Bio, Emily served as Associate Director of Talent Acquisition at Ajinomoto Bio-Pharma Services.

64x Bio is transforming the future of cell and gene therapy manufacturing with high throughput discovery and design of enhanced cell lines for next generation biomanufacturing and therapeutics. The company’s VectorSelect platform leverages leading-edge DNA library synthesis, next generation sequencing and machine learning to dramatically increase experimental throughput and enable discovery of cell lines with otherwise unattainable and radically improved productivities.
