XPO Logistics has appointed Dawn Nixon as SVP HR, Americas and Asia Pacific for its planned spin-off, GXO. Hanold Associates‘ Lisa Butkus, Mayank Parikh and Ivy Arlia led the search for this role based in North Carolina.
In December of 2020, XPO Logistics announced its intention to spin off its logistics segment into a separate company. The new company, to be named GXO Logistics, will emerge as the second-largest contract logistics provider in the world. Intending to focus on warehousing and e-commerce fulfillment, the company will start with around 75,000 employees and 200 million square feet of warehouse space. The new company will be based in High Point, North Carolina, and is expected to be traded on the NYSE after the split.
Prior to joining the XPO organization, Dawn served as the VP, HR for Integrated Supply Chain, Quality and Global Learning at Baxter International. In her new role, Dawn will report to the Global CHRO of GXO as she works to create and implement human capital programs that positively impact the growth of the business.
