Warburg Pincus-backed Pregis has retained Hanold Associates for their Chief Human Resources Officer search. Sandra Peña and Ashley Schiele are heading the search for this Chicago-area based position.

The investment from Warburg has aligned perfectly with the growth trajectory of Pregis—the company has doubled revenue to more than $700M and more than doubled profit to approximately $130M in the last five years by “wowing” its customers. The organization plans to double again in the next several years.

Reporting to the CEO, the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) is a key member of the Pregis leadership team. Characteristics required for success in this role are a hands-on leadership style, strategic mindset and an ability to partner with the CEO. The person assuming this role needs to be leadership team-ready with the ability to quickly integrate and take the reins.
The CHRO is responsible for developing and executing Human Resources strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization. This person provides strategic hands-on leadership by partnering with the executive team in designing and executing HR plans to drive growth in line with the business strategy while managing organizational risks and liabilities.
