Venue Group Appoints Chief People & Culture Officer from Search by Hanold Associates

Venue Group, the global entertainment & hospitality company led by Ben Lovett, has appointed Lisa Seelinger as Chief People & Culture Officer (CPCO). Hanold Associates’ Jason Hanold, Lisa Butkus, Sarah Kennedy and Ashley Schiele led the search for this New York City based role.

Venue Group was founded in 2016 by CEO Ben Lovett, serial entrepreneur and a multi-award-winning musician from the band Mumford & Sons, alongside his brother Greg Lovett, who joined the team as Chief Financial Officer following many successful years with the Soho House Group. The company’s mission is to build the best venues for both musicians and fans. The company currently operates three venues in the United Kingdom with six projects currently in development and under contract in the United States. Venue Group currently employs over 250 people, and will soon grow to over 2,000 people, including 150 within corporate and over 2,000 at venue sites.

Lisa previously served as a Vice President, Human Resources at Bergdorf Goodman, leading all aspects of HR and executing a comprehensive diversity and belonging strategy for the company. As the CPCO, Lisa will sit on the executive board and will be a key business partner to the company leadership team, reporting directly to the CEO, Ben Lovett. In this role, Lisa will provide strategic and global resources across the business operations and facilitate leadership and development training to enrich career experiences.
