Hanold Associates has launched the Vice President Talent Acquisition search for US Foods. Katie Wolf and Ashley Schiele lead the search for the role based at US Foods’ global headquarters in Rosemont, Illinois.
US Foods is one of America’s great food companies and a leading food-service distributor, marketing and distributing fresh, frozen and dry food and non-food products to food-service customers throughout the United States. Their customers include independently owned single and multi-unit restaurants, regional concepts, national restaurant chains, hospitals, nursing homes, hotels and motels, country clubs, government and military organizations, colleges and universities and retail locations. US Foods partners with approximately 250,000 restaurants and food-service operators to help their businesses succeed, providing approximately 400,000 fresh, frozen and dry food stock-keeping units (SKUs), as well as non-food items, sourced from over 5,000 suppliers.
With over 25,000 employees and maintaining 75 primary operating facilities—consisting of its 60 distribution centers—and a fleet of over 6,000 trucks, US Foods generates more than $24 billion in annual revenue.
Reporting to CHRO, David Works, the Vice President of Talent Acquisition will oversee all of recruitment efforts enterprise-wide and manage all relationships with external partners. They will be responsible for developing and driving a game-changing recruiting function for US Foods corporate and field. In addition, this role will also oversee and implement a centralized recruiting model for hourly recruiting in their 70 distribution centers. This critical role will be a strong, contributing member of the HR leadership team and must be innately comfortable advising, challenging and working through complex scenarios with HR peers and business leaders.
