Meg McElroy

Partner at Hanold Associates

Meg is a Partner with Hanold Associates where she focuses on recruiting Human Resources and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion leaders across multiple industries and functions.

Prior to joining Hanold Associates, Meg was the Director of Recruitment and Selection for Northwestern Mutual. There, she grew from developing and expanding the organization’s campus program to recruiting full-time professionals in the Financial Services industry.

Previously, Meg had a strong focus in the Retail industry at Nordstrom and Kohl’s corporate. While at Kohl’s, she implemented innovative strategies for the shoe division to work more efficiently while also working directly with the division buyers to help determine merchandising needs for Kohl’s locations nationwide.

Meg graduated from Purdue University where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising while minoring in Organizational Leadership and Communications. While at Purdue, Meg served as a Recruitment Chair for Purdue’s Chi Omega Sorority, held an undergraduate teaching assistant role within the school of Health and Human Sciences and was involved in the Purdue Retail Organization.

Meg lives in Chicago and is passionate about working closely with the Alzheimer’s Association. She serves as a Marketing Committee member for the Chicago Walk to End Alzheimer’s held yearly at Soldier Field. She enjoys staying active, spending time with family and playing with her dog, Mackey (named after Mackey Arena – Boiler Up!).
