The Nederlander Organization Appoints Executive Director of Diversity and Culture from Search by Hanold Associates

The Nederlander Organization has appointed Dr. Ron Milon as Executive Director of Diversity & Culture. Hanold Associates’ Val Lopez and Sarah Kennedy led the search for this role.

In this role as Executive Director of Diversity & Culture, Dr. Milon will partner with the organization’s senior leadership and existing DEI committees to oversee and build upon the organization’s ongoing DEI strategy. Dr. Milon will report to Executive Vice President, Nick Scandalios, and serve as a member of the senior leadership team. Prior to joining Nederlander, Dr. Milon served as Chief Diversity Officer at the Fashion Institute of Technology.

As one of the largest owners and operators of live theaters and music venues in the United States, the Nederlander Organization is most well-known for its nine Broadway venues in New York City. Headquartered on Broadway in New York City’s Theater District, the organization also operates or presents in over 30 venues globally, including five venues in Chicago, three in London and additional locations in North Carolina, California, Arizona and South Carolina. The Nederlanders have been prolific producers of theatrical productions with over 100 touring and Broadway productions to their credit. The company has been instrumental in presenting many of Broadway’s most honored and successful shows, including Cats, Annie and On Your Feet! The Story of Emilio and Gloria Estefan.
