Red Hat Appoints Chief Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Officer from Search by Hanold Associates

Red Hat, the world’s leading provider of enterprise open-source software solutions, has appointed Shuchi Sharma as Chief Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Officer. Hanold Associates’ Val Lopez, Sandra Peña and Ivy Arlia led the search for this critical role.

As Chief DEI Officer, Shuchi will expand Red Hat’s DEI function on a global level, emphasizing DEI as a core attribute of the company’s business strategy while helping it live its DEI “Why:” inclusion inspires innovation. Shuchi will be a part of Red Hat’s corporate leadership team as a business leader, change-agent and trusted advisor to the company’s executives, associates and communities. Shuchi previously served as Global Vice President, Diversity & Inclusion at SAP.
