Hanold Associates has launched the Chief Human Resources Officer search for Teaching Strategies, a portfolio company of private equity firm, Summit Partners. Jason Hanold, Mayank Parikh and Omar Safi lead the search for the role based at Teaching Strategies’ headquarters in Washington, DC.

Teaching Strategies, LLC, a dynamic educational technology company specializing in early childhood, was founded in 1988 by Diane Trister Dodge, a noted educator, author, speaker, and child advocate. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, Kai-Lee Berke, the Chief Human Resources Officer will serve as a crucial member of Teaching Strategies’ executive team and will be instrumental in guiding the company through growth and change.

Teaching Strategies and Summit Partners are building a company for the long term and are seeking a human capital leader who will coach the CEO and executive team, set a strong HR foundation, and take the lead on designing and implementing the longer-term vision, mission, and brand of human resources for the organization. The CHRO will step in as the first executive-level leader of the Global People function and strategically partner with senior leaders to help determine how to best utilize their talent-base to innovate and support the business.
