PE-backed Cynosure Appoints Chief People Officer from Search by Hanold Associates

CHICAGO (Feb. 3, 2021) ― Cynosure, a leader in energy-based aesthetic and medical treatments backed by Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, has appointed Kellie Teal-Guess as Chief People Officer. Hanold Associates’ Lisa Butkus and Katrina Prospero led the search for this role based in the Greater Boston area.

Teal-Guess comes to Cynosure from CyrusOne, where she served as Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer. As the Chief People Officer of Cynosure, she will be the key leader of all HR operations throughout the organization, establishing and delivering a strategy that supports the business, employees and the overall culture. Reporting directly to CEO Todd Tillemans and serving as a close partner to the senior leadership team and Board of Directors, Teal-Guess will provide a people lens on business operations. She will also oversee and develop the growing HR team with a focus on creating a more strategic function, transforming skill sets and culture to best serve the company’s mission and growth aspirations.
