Pace Gallery has appointed Gary Bannett as Chief Financial Officer. Hanold Associates’ Katrina Maione and Sandra Peña led the search for this role.
As Chief Financial Officer, Gary will expand and lead all financial activities for Pace Gallery, overseeing the strategic direction and oversight of Pace’s domestic and international financial activities. Gary will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team of Pace Gallery reporting to CEO, Marc Glimcher. Prior to joining Pace Gallery, Gary served as Chief Financial Officer at ALMO Corporation.
Pace Gallery represents some of the most influential contemporary artists and estates from the past century. Founded in 1960 by Arne Glimcher, the gallery advances its mission through a robust global program, comprising exhibitions, artist projects, public installations, institutional collaborations, performances and interdisciplinary projects. Pace also has a legacy in art bookmaking and has published over 500 titles in close collaboration with artists and introducing new voices. The gallery has 300 employees across nine locations worldwide, including London, Geneva, Palo Alto, New York City, Hong Kong and Seoul.
