Moderna Appoints Vice President HR for Commercial and SG&A from Search by Hanold Associates


Moderna, with a coronavirus vaccine ready to advance to final testing phase, has appointed Stephanie Engels as Vice President, HR Business Partnerships for Commercial and SG&A, based in the Greater Boston area. Sandra Peña, Kile Hanold, Katrina Prospero and Ashley Schiele led the search.

Stephanie Engels comes to Moderna from Zimmer Biomet and Shire where she held various HR Leadership positions. Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer of Moderna, Tracey Franklin, Ms. Engels will serve as a strategic partner to Moderna’s G&A functions, including Finance, Legal, HR, Business Development, Corporate Strategy, Corporate Affairs and Digital to deliver against the business and people growth objectives.
