IDEX Corporation has appointed Troy McIntosh as Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer. Hanold Associates‘ Sonia Nagra, Sarah Kennedy and Keri Gavin led the search for this Chicago area role.
Headquartered in Northbrook, Illinois, IDEX manufactures and markets products in three main markets: fluid and metering technologies, health and science technologies, and fire and safety/diversified products. These segments combined for annual revenues of $2.35 billion USD in 2020. Publicly traded on the NYSE as IEX, the company has more than 90 locations across 14 countries, employing approximately 7,300 people.
Troy spent the last five years at U.S. Cellular, focusing on integrating D&I into the end-to-end employee lifecycle. Stepping into role at IDEX, Troy will report directly to CEO Eric Ashleman, partnering to develop and execute a shared vision, mission and strategy to drive systemic and lasting change at IDEX, ingraining DE&I deep into the company’s cultural fabric.
