Hillrom’s ICU Hospital Beds in Demand, Hanold Associates Volunteers to Recruit Needed Installation Technicians in COVID-19 Hotspots

Hillrom

Hillrom is racing to manufacture enough ICU hospital beds in the fight to treat the most critical COVID-19 patients, while rapidly scaling their production of ventilators. While manufacturing efforts for both ventilators and ICU hospital beds can scale, there is a critical role required, at the hospital locations, to assemble and install the ICU beds. These critical roles are Field Technicians and Medical Equipment Handlers. The Hanold Associates recruiting team is volunteering with Hillrom to quickly identify and assess dozens of Field Service Technicians, Low Voltage Installation Technicians and Medical Equipment Inventory Handlers needed in hotspots around the country. “In a personal, family, organizational or societal crisis, each of us must find our role to play in working through that crisis, and our team is finding ways to volunteer and contribute our capability towards the efforts of those fighting on the frontlines of this pandemic”, says Jason Hanold, CEO of Hanold Associates.

Hanold Associates Partner, Sandra Peña, who is leading the volunteer effort added, “Locations for these roles include New York, Florida, Michigan, Missouri, North Carolina, Indiana, Wisconsin, Ohio and Tennessee for around the clock shifts, 24/7. These roles are hourly, permanent, full-time positions with Hillrom benefits, and ideal for one who may be unemployed or under-employed today. Help us spread the word to good people in need of employment, who want to play a critical role in this crisis.”

“There is no more important time to be part of a medical device company,” said Hillrom Chief HR Officer, Ken Meyers. “The products we are manufacturing and delivering are put to immediate use by caregivers, for patients who need them most. We are grateful to Hanold Associates for their help filling these critical roles.” These roles may include responsibilities such as client facing customer service, minor medical equipment repairs, pick-up and delivery of medical equipment, heavy lifting and repair/installation of medical equipment. Some weekend rotation and work off-hours as emergency support is required as needed in a 24/7 operation. Qualifications for the roles vary and some of the more technical positions require licensure. Personal protective equipment will be provided. All workers are required to adhere to Hillrom safety procedures and the World Health Organization guidelines.
