Hanold Associates recruited Tiffany Shimek as the VP of People & Talent for JustFoodForDogs. Katie Traines and Katie Wolf led the search for the role located in Irvine, California.
JustFoodForDogs is the world’s first dog kitchen with the single objective of increasing the quality and length of life for as many dogs as possible through a balanced, whole food diet.
With a team of boarded specialists in veterinary medicine and research on staff, every recipe is made in small batches and includes meats, whole grains and vegetables. All ingredients are 100% certified for human consumption by the USDA. In order to maximize the nutritional value, the food is cooked minimally in one of the four company kitchens: Newport Beach, West Hollywood, Sherman Oaks and Manhattan Beach, California. JustFoodForDogs food is also available in their Pantry locations: Capistrano Beach, Downtown Los Angeles, Anaheim Hills and Long Beach, California.
Ms. Shimek joins JustFoodForDogs from ForwardLine Financial. Reporting to the CEO and leading the Human Resources function, Ms. Shimek will be responsible for developing and leading People strategy during a period of rapid national expansion while cultivating the unique mission and core values of JustFoodForDogs throughout the employee lifecycle. She will be responsible for identifying, developing and implementing key human resources initiatives that will substantially enhance the success of the business.
