Hanold Associates Launches VP Benefits Search for Kindred at Home

Kindred

PE-backed Kindred at Home tapped Hanold Associates for their Vice President Benefits search. The search is led by Karlis Antons and  Omar Safi and the role is based at the Atlanta headquarters.

With revenues exceeding $6B, and more than 80,000 employees, Kindred Healthcare was the nation’s largest provider of post-acute healthcare services, delivering integrated solutions to support patients and manage their care across the home health, hospice, community care, long-term acute care hospital and rehabilitation services continuum.

Following a shareholder vote at the end of March 2018, Kindred Healthcare was acquired, taken private and—recognizing different market trends and growth trajectories—split into two independent companies: Kindred Hospital Company (which will consist of the Long-Term Acute Care hospital and Rehab businesses) and Kindred at Home (which will consist of the Home Health, Hospice and Community Care businesses).

Kindred at Home is owned by TPG Capital, WCAS and Humana. Their revenue is nearly $3B, employs approximately 45,000 employees and is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, with a significant ongoing presence in Louisville.

Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer, the Vice President of Benefits will be responsible for all benefits strategy, design and administration for Kindred at Home’s approximately 50,000 employees. They will serve as a key member of the Human Resources leadership team and will have significant exposure to, and interaction with the executive team, board and financial sponsors.

The Vice President of Benefits will act as a close strategic partner with the leadership team to ensure that all benefit programs align with the strategic goals of the company and support the high-performance culture by rewarding and attracting exceptional talent. They will direct the planning, design, implementation, maintenance and administration of all benefits programs in order to maintain the organization’s objectives and competitive position in the marketplace.
