Hanold Associates Launches Chief HR Officer Search for Kindred at Home

Kindred at Home

Kindred at Home, a PE-backed company, tapped Hanold Associates for their Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) search. The search is led by Hanold partner’s Keri Gavin and Ashley Schiele and the role is located in Kindred at Home’s Atlanta headquarters.

With revenues exceeding $6B, and more than 80,000 employees, Kindred Healthcare was the nation’s largest provider of post-acute healthcare services, delivering integrated solutions to support patients and manage their care across the home health, hospice, community care, long-term acute care hospital and rehabilitation services continuum.

Following a shareholder vote at the end of March 2018, Kindred Healthcare was acquired, taken private and—recognizing different market trends and growth trajectories—split into two independent companies: Kindred Hospital Company (which will consist of the Long-Term Acute Care hospital and Rehab businesses) and Kindred at Home (which will consist of the Home Health, Hospice and Community Care businesses).

Kindred at Home is owned by TPG Capital, WCAS and Humana. Kindred at Home revenue is nearly $3B, employs approximately 45,000 employees and is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, with a significant ongoing presence in Louisville.

For the incoming CHRO, Kindred at Home requires an energetic, strategic human resources executive to act as a change agent and to lead all human resources activities for the company. In this mission-driven environment, the CHRO will be an integral part of the senior leadership team and the human resources goals and objectives will be key elements of the company’s broader strategic plan. The CHRO will work closely with the CEO to build and integrate a diverse senior executive team to support the company’s continued evolution.
