Dow, one of the largest materials science corporations in the world, appointed Michael Horne as Head of Global Total Rewards. Hanold Associates‘ partners Kile Hanold and Mayank Parikh led the search for this search based in Michigan.

Headquartered in Midland, Michigan, Dow (NYSE:DOW) is a major multinational company that produces packaging and specialty products, industrial intermediates and infrastructure and performance materials and coatings. With roots dating back to 1897, the company’s 120 years of history have seen it become a global force through continuous R&D, commercialization and international expansion. The company has grown to 36,500 employees, 109 manufacturing sites across 31 countries and more than $43 billion in sales in 2019.

Horne will join Dow from Mars, where he served as the Vice President, Global Rewards. This new role will report directly to Dow’s Chief Human Resources Officer and Chief Inclusion Officer, Karen S. Carter, and ensure that Dow’s compensation and benefits strategies serve to power the company’s strategy, goals and competitive advantage by attracting and retaining diverse talent at all levels.
