CAMP4 Therapeutics, a cutting-edge biotechnology company building a systematic and scalable platform, has appointed Michelle Gates as Chief People Officer. Hanold Associates‘ Mayank Parikh, Katrina Prospero and Sarah Kennedy led the search for this Cambridge, MA based role.

Michelle previously served as a Vice President Human Resources at Akamai Technologies. Throughout her 16 years with Akamai, she held a variety of roles and acted as the HR lead for scaling and growth. In her new role, Ms. Gates will report to CEO Josh Mandel-Brehm, joining CAMP4 at a critical phase of its scaling process. She will work to build upon the company’s existing HR function, supporting employees, recruiting new talent and shaping a hands on culture across the company.
